A visit to the 24 hour Church of Elvis

while visiting Portland, Oregon USA we set out on a long, brisk walk around the city to find the

~ The 24 hour Church of Elvis ~ 

You may ask yourself;
What is this curious and wonderous creation?
Well,  It's a 24 hour exhibit at a museum and gallery called "Where's the Art?"

It was created by Stephanie "Stevie" G. Pierce in 1985.

It has been moved around the city a few times but it is now located on

408 N.W. Couch Portland, Oregon USA...

It's Springtime Around Here "2011"

The "House of Yates" has been pulling weeds, planting plants, building fences, stacking stones and making plans for little out-buildings all because it's Springtime ...

It's just not Springtime around here unless there are Hanging Baskets hanging

The Cottage Garden is just starting to Bloom and Grow

These teenie, tiny flowers amaze me every year

1 ,2, 3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,7  little Boxwoods planted all in a row

and someone has been very busy
 stacking stones around this place

I'm planning to plant an Evergreen Clematis here real soon.

These Patient Peonies are waiting for Mr. Sun
